Description
Orcas (also known as killer whales) are the largest member of the dolphin family, reaching a maximum length of 33 feet (10 meters), and can weigh up to 22,000 pounds (10,000 kg). They are highly intelligent and often coordinate as a group to hunt their prey which includes elephant seals and other pinnipeds.
