Bring the family out to the Piedras Blancas Northern Elephant Seal rookery for a special Holiday Family Day at Seal Science Sunday. This free, LIVE event is at the ELEPHANT SEAL ROOKERY in San Simeon,CA.
Our special Holiday Family Day -Seal Science Sunday event includes a blubber experiment demonstration and holiday gift items on sale, in addition to our Elephant Seal science table. One of our knowledgeable and friendly docents will be presenting elephant seal and seal-related exhibits, including an elephant seal skull, a shark jaw, seal molt, lots of photos and more. Just look for the table with our blue jacketed docent and stop by for as long as you like.
